Worst customer service ever
Update: Sunrun escalated this to their team and really came through with flying colors. The person who I was dealing with really understood the problem and was a great listener. Not only that, but they made good and totally resolved my issue. What can I say that hasn't already been said about this horrible company? Sure, as long as everything is going fine you don't need to bother with them. But God forbid something happens with your system. My inverter apparently broke sometime in May. Apparently the system that they have in place for monitoring my solar production is a complete and utter failure. I was not made aware of the fact that I was not producing solar until late July. By that time I had racked up an LADWP bill of over $2000 for electricity! I called Sunrun Customer service and explained the situation and told them that I had the "performance guarantee". That guarantee, as any consumer would presume, was supposed to guarantee that my monthly lease payment insured that my equipment would be up and running efficiently and producing the right amount of solar energy. They offered me $24!!! I called and complained and was given a second offer of $200. Totally unacceptable! Their customer service absolutely sucks. Their performance guarantee is a joke. Their panels break often and easily. Their sales people tried to actually sell me additional panels in the midst of all of this happening. I'm taking them to small claims court. In the meantime, I would highly suggest you look elsewhere for a solar provider. There are certainly enough choices out there.

Elizabeth, provided a completely seamless transition from SDG&E to SunRun Solar! She followed the job from the start (helping with all the necessary documentation) to finish (obtaining all the necessary approvals & system energization) She followed closely to make certain there were no hiccups! The actual installation of panels batteries, inverter & wiring took less than half a day! It's so nice not getting an electric bill, particularly when they have been constantly on the rise! Great solar company
Sunrun is a great company they were very nice and saved me tons of money on my light bill! Definitely recommend! Not paying a dime for panels and reduced my bill.

Sunrun-away....part deux
....This is an edited review.... Straight up, I was not kind to Sunrun on here a while back. I still do carry a lil angst, because it never should have gone as long as it did, and be as difficult as it was to get resolved. A couple of hours ago, I received and signed a work agreement to remedy an installation issue that could have been pretty severe. Thank you, God, for the lil bit of (and not 3 feet of it) snow to illustrate what I knew was going to happen...and for finding me someone with good ole common sense, who, because of where she lives, understood where I was coming from, and was willing to advocate for me to convince Ra that I was worthy of the change. I received correspondence from her when normal hours were long over. The way she addressed both myself and the issue, was completely different that all my other contact experiences and I cannot thank GH enough for her help.

Knowledgeable representative…
The very knowledgeable rep who discussed Sunrun in detail made it easy to understand solar how it works and how it works in your home. She covered everything from contact to installation. I felt very informed and comfortable signing contracts. The workmanship was timely and professional. I am waiting for energy company to do final inspection and start up. I have had several question which were answered quickly because rep knows about state laws. I am totally satisfied, actually more than satisfied with Sunrun

Sunrunsolar just finished installing my…
Sunrunsolar just finished installing my solar system. The contractors seemed very knowledgeable about what kind of system would accommodate my family's needs for electricity as we are 100% electric and live above 4300ft elevation where we get our fair share of snow. They reviewed how much energy we used the past year and designed a system that would produce enough power to album eliminate the need for P, G and E. We choose to lease our system and leave the upkeep and maintenance to them including insuring the solar panels against fire or property damage. Now we will only need our power company for our nighttime usage. I recommend sunrun 100% and rate their service ☆☆☆☆☆ Doug S. Twain Harte, California
